When you select the Everyone for 10 Minutes option, the iPhone will send and receive AirDrop transfers from all users. While this is convenient it also raises privacy concerns, especially when you do this in a public place.
So after you are done with your transfer it is recommended that you choose Contacts Only option to avoid any unpleasant transfer requests.

Can you turn on AirDrop for everyone all the time?
With the release of iOS 16.2, Apple has limited the amount of time you can set AirDrop settings to everyone.
