How To Hide App, Widget, And Folder Labels In iOS 18

In iOS 18 Apple has introduced a variety of home screen customization features. One such feature allows users to hide the labels for app icons, widgets, and folders.

By hiding labels from the home screen iPhone and iPad users can achieve a cleaner and minimalistic look on their. This little action removes a lot of clutter from the screen.

Currently, in the iOS 18 beta, the feature requires the user to make the app icons large. However, we hope Apple lets users remove app labels without enabling the large icon setting in the future version of iOS.

You can hide labels on iOS 18 or later by following the steps below.

Step 1. Long press on the home screen to enter editing mode.

Step 2. Tap on the Edit button from the top left corner.

Step 3. From the menu choose Customize option.
