Just a few days after the release of the iOS 17.6 developer beta, Apple has today released the iOS 17.6 public beta and it is now available for download.
iPadOS 17.6 developer and public betas are also available for beta testers.
If you are registered with Apple’s Public Beta Program or Apple’s Developer Program, then you can go ahead and download any of these betas by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update -> Beta Updates.
iOS 17.6 appears to be a minor update and does not bring any new features to iPhones or iPads. No new features have been discovered in iOS 17.6 developer and public betas yet.
Apple is also testing iOS 18 beta along with iOS 17.6. A public beta of iOS 18 is expected to be released in July. While iOS 17.6 will most likely be released to the public in July, iOS 18 is scheduled to see a public release in the fall.
