Factory Reset HomePod Mini

You can factory reset HomePod mini on an iPhone, iPad, or Mac with the steps below.

Step 1. Open the Home app on a device that is using the same Apple ID as your HomePod mini.

Step 2. From the list of devices tap on HomePod mini.

Step 3. Now tap on the Settings button.

Step 4. Now tap on the Reset HomePod mini option.

Step 5. Next, select the Remove Accessory option.

After performing the steps above you will be able to set up your HomePod mini again.

Step 1. Plug your HomePod mini to the computer with a USB-C cable.

Step 2. Open Finder on Mac. On Windows open the Apple Devices app or iTunes.

Step 3. From the side pane choose your HomePod mini and click on the Restore HomePod button.

When you restore HomePod mini it resets and is updated to the latest available firmware.
