The stock Photos app packs some really nice editing features, that allow users to make basic changes to their images such as adding filters, cropping, removing red-eye etc. without needing third-party apps. If you use this feature on your iPhone then there’s a handy tip that we would like to share with you today. This will make using Photos app’s editing features a lot easier and allow you to get the most out of them.
The trick is that by long holding on image while in editing mode you can see it in its original state. This allows you to compare the results by seeing if the changes you have made to the image make it look better or not. Without this you will have to undo the changes you have made in order to see if the original looked better than the edited version. The original image appears only when you are still holding your finger on the image. As soon as you lift it you will be able to see the edited version that you created using the built-in tools.
