Apple has released iOS 17.7 and iPadOS 17.7 update, which is now available on all devices. Apple has released iOS 17.7 as an alternative update for those users who do not wish to update their devices to iOS 18 yet.
According to Apple’s change log, iOS 17.7 update brings new options for app marketplace, web browsers, and payments for EU residents.
In addition to this iOS 17.7 brings support for new emojis, transcriptions in the Podcasts app, and more. The update also brings bug fixes to iPhones and iPads and security fixes.
You can download iOS 17.7 on all iPhone and iPad models by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update. It is available over the air along with the new iOS 18.0 update.
You can also download iOS 17.7 and iPadOS 17.7 IPSW and use iTunes or Finder in order to manually install iOS 17.7 on your device.
