Battery Capacity iPhone 11 Pro Max

If you have been waiting to know the battery capacity on iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max then your wait is over. We now know the battery capacities for these new devices thanks to a document published by Chinese regulatory agency TENAA.

We were particularly interested in knowing the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max battery capacity as Apple is claiming that these devices respectively offer 4 hours and 5 hours more battery life than their predecessors.

This is a big increase and would have required Apple to do more than just making the A13 Bionic chip and the Super Retina XDR display more power efficient.

According to the document the new battery capacity on iPhone 11 is 3,110 mAh. This is noticeably larger than the 2,942mAh battery that was found on last year’s iPhone XR. Apple says iPhone 11 offers 1 hour more battery life than XR. This increase is significant as battery life on last year’s XR was already impressive.

iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max Battery Capacity

On the other hand iPhone 11 Pro battery capacity is said to be 3,046mAh, which is significantly higher than the 2,658mAh battery of iPhone XS.

iPhone 11 Pro Max Battery Capacity is said to have received a boost of about 20 percent, as the document says it has a battery size of 3,969mAh. By contrast last year’s iPhone XS Max had a battery of 3,174mAh.

According to Apple’s website the new iPhones should be able to last longer than their predecessors. iPhone 11 is said to offer 17 hours of video playback while the iPhone 11 Pro is said to last for 18 hours of video playback. iPhone 11 Pro Max, which has the largest battery will be able to offer 20 hours of video playback.

The same document also lists that all three new models of iPhone have 4GB of RAM. This may come as a surprise to many who believed Apple will increase iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max RAM to 6GB this year. Interestingly iPhone 11 has 1GB more RAM than last year’s iPhone XR, which was limited to 3GB RAM.
