iOS 11.1 Developer Beta 5 Is Out Now Along With macOS And tvOS Betas

Just 3 days after releasing beta 4, Apple has today released iOS 11.1 Developer Beta 5 and it is now available for download. The beta 5 is available for all models of iPhone, iPad and iPod touch that support iOS 11. Contrary to beta 4, which was a 2GB release, iOS 11.1 beta 5 comes just under 50MB. For example, on iPad Pro 10.5-inch it is just a 33.7MB download.

While this particular beta release focuses on bug fixes and performance improvements, iOS 11.1 update as a whole brings hundreds of new emoji, 3D touch gesture to access multitasking and more.

If you are already running iOS 11.1 developer beta on your devices, then you can download the small update by going to Settings. New users can download it by installing the configuration profile from the developer website.

Along with iOS 11.1 beta 5, Apple has also released fourth developer betas for macOS High Sierra 10.13.1 and tvOS 11.1, both of which can now be downloaded through the developer center.
