The iOS GM or Gold Master has been released and it is now available for download. The update has been made available for registered developers who have been running iOS 11 beta on their devices. While you can download iOS 11 GM over-the-air, it should also be available through the dev center.
The iOS 11 GM is a 1.99GB download instead of a minor update, this suggests it has major under-the-hood changes instead of minor updates as with previous releases. That is why Apple is making everyone download the whole thing.
iOS 11 tons of new features to the operating system including a redesigned Control Center, Files App better Siri, improvements for Photos, Camera Notes app, Mail and other stock apps, drag and drop features for iPad, a redesign dock for the iPad and more.
