You might think that right now is too early for iPhone 8 rumors, but you would be wrong. We have already seen a number of iPhone 8 concepts based on rumors and wishful thinking of Apple fans who can’t wait 8 more months until Apple finally announces its next generation smartphone. The latest concept comes from Thadeu Brandão, who in a mockup video imagines what an iPhone 8 with no bezels might look like. While a lot of stuff in video seems too futuristic it has certainly got us excited.
The device in the concept video not only features an edge-to-edge display but also features a physical home button. The button is also part of the screen and contextually displays controls based on what’s on the screen. With the extra real estate that will be available to apps, the designer imagines that iOS will offer MacBook Touch Bar like buttons that users can tap to perform different functions in the app they are currently using.
