New MacBook Air: Retina Display, 8th Gen. Dual-Core Processor, Touch ID And More

Apple has today announced the new MacBook Pro. The biggest new feature of the new MacBook Air is the 13.3-inch Retina Display, making it the first Air to feature the high resolution screen. The new screen offers 4 million pixels and 48 percent more colors than the previous generation. The new Air features an all new design with thinner black  color bezels, which is a shift from last gen’s silver aluminium bezels.

Apple has also added Touch ID to the MacBook Air, making it the first Mac to feature Touch ID without Touch Bar. The new MacBook Air also features T2 security chip that will provide security features and Hey Siri functionality to users.

Specs wide MacBook Air is a powerful machine and comes with 8th generation Intel Dual-Core processor, Intel Integrated Graphics, up to 16GB RAM, up to 1.5TB SSD Storage capacity, 12 hour video playback. It weighs 2.75 pounds and has a 17 percent smaller footprint than its predecessor.

MacBook Air features new butterfly backlit keyboard, for the first time a 20 percent large Force Touch based TouchPad, 25 percent louder speakers 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports for charging and external device connectivity, and a headphone jack.

MacBook Air starts at $1199 and comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD Storage. It is available today and will be delivered to buyers on 7th November.
