Apple has kicked off its 2021 Back To School promotion. This year Apple is going offer a pair of free AirPods with every eligible purchase of a Mac or iPad.
Apple is offering free AirPods to students in United States and Canada who are buying a Mac or an iPad for the upcoming school year.
Students buying MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac mini, 24-inch iMac and Mac Pro will get free AirPods with their purchase.
Those buying an iPad Air or the new M1 iPad Pro are also eligible for free AirPods provided they are among the qualifying students and educators. On top of that a 20% discount on AppleCare+ is also available with the purchase of these devices.
Apple is offering free AirPods without the wireless charging case. However you can upgrade your free AirPods and include wireless charging by paying $40 extra. Students also have the option to upgrade to AirPods Pro if they pay $90 extra.
