Apple Announces New Collections And Time To Run Features For Fitness+

Apple has announced new Apple Fitness+ features called Time to Run and Collections both of which will go live on Fitness+ along side existing offerings on January 10. Apple has announced the new features through a press release.

Similar to Time to Walk the new Time to Run is a new audio experience that focuses on running. According to Apple it will help users in becoming better and more consistent runners. Each episode of Time to Run will be focused on a popular running route and will feature coaching tips from Fitness+ trainers. The episodes will also feature motivational and energizing music while the playlists are designed to match each run’s location, intensity and coaching.

Time to Run will launch with three episodes: London, coached by Cory Wharton-Malcolm; Brooklyn, coached by Emily Fayette; and Miami Beach, coached by Sam Sanchez. One new episode of Time to Run will be released each week on Mondays. Runners of all levels can enjoy Time to Run and stay motivated on their route from start to finish.

The new Collections feature, which is a curated series of workouts and meditations from Fitness+ library will help users in reaching their goals.

At launch there will be six collections including 30-Day Core Challenge, Improve Your Posture with Pilates, Perfect Your Yoga Balance Poses, Run Your First 5K, Strengthen Your Back, Stretch Your Hips and Wind Down for a Better Bedtime.

Along side Time to Run and Collections Apple is also launching the third season of Time to Walk on January 10.

Apple Fitness+ is a paid subscription service and costs $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year.
