After a long wait, Apple has released iOS 16.3 beta 2 to developers, and it is now available for download. iPadOS 16.3 beta 2 has also been released today. The build number for today’s release is 20D5035i.
The update can be downloaded over-the-air by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update. At the same time, those who are not running iOS beta yet can install the beta configuration profile on their device and then head over to the Software Update section of their device to download the beta for the first time.
iOS 16.3 and iPadOS 16.3 betas are not the only software releases in the developer center today. Apple has also seeded macOS Ventura 9.3 beta 2, watchOS 9.3 beta 2, and tvOS 16.3 beta 2, all of which are now available for download on their devices.
Apple is expected to release iOS 16.3 sometime in February or early March. The new update will bring new security features that include support for physical security keys, which will allow users to authenticate as a second layer of two-factor authentication.
