Apple has just released iOS 16.3 update and it is now available for download. Both iOS 16.3 and iPadOS 16.3 updates can now be downloaded over-the-air and through direct iOS 16.3 IPSW download links.

iOS 16.3 is a major iOS release that brings a number of changes and improvements to iOS. Alongside iOS 16.3 Apple has also released iPadOS 16.3, macOS 13.2, watchOS 9.3, tvOS 16.3 and they can also be downloaded on their respective devices.

With the release of iOS 16.3 Apple has added new Unity wallpapers to honor black history month.

Security Keys feature for Apple ID authentication has also been added in this update, which will allow iOS users to secure their Apple accounts with a physical security key when using two-factor authentication and signing into a new Apple device.

This update also brings support for HomePod 2nd generation that was announced a few days ago.

Emergency SOS feature has received a minor change in this release and now requires users to hold down the side button along with volume up or down button in order to make emergency calls.

Several bugs have also been fixed in this release including issues related to Freeform app, lock screen wallpaper issue, horizontal lines issue on iPhone 14 Pro Max and more.
