Apple Releases macOS Monterey 12.2, watchOS 8.4 And tvOS 15.3

Alongside iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 Apple has also released the new macOS Monterey 12.2, watchOS 8.4 and tvOS 15.3 software updates. All of these updates are now available over-the-air and can be downloaded directly on their respective devices.

macOS Monterey is a minor update and has been released after it was beta tested with developers. It is also an essential update, as it brings important security bug fixes for the Safari bug that allowed hackers to see user’s browsing history and Google ID. In order to update to macOS Monterey click on the Apple logo from the menu bar and then click on About This Mac. Next click on Software Update and check for updates.

Following the theme of all other updates released today, watchOS 8.4 is also a minor update. In this release Apple has included bug fixes and important security fixes. watchOS 8.4 also fixes an issue that caused some chargers to not work as expected. You can download and install watchOS 8.4 on your Apple Watch through the Watch app on iPhone.

The new tvOS 15.3 update brings Siri voice recognition support for up to six users in a household in Indian English and Italian. In addition to that Apple has included performance and stability improvements in this release.
