Apple has just released second developer betas for its upcoming major operating system updates. This includes new betas for macOS 15 Sequoia, watchOS 11, tvOS 18, and visionOS 2.
Apple has also released second developer betas for iOS 18 and iPadOS 18, both of which are also available for download.
In today’s second beta release, Apple is expected to fix major bugs that were part of the initial developer beta release.
In addition to bug fixes and performance enhancements, Apple is launching the iPhone Mirroring feature for Mac users, which will allow iPhone users to mirror and control their iPhone wirelessly while it is placed inside a bag or on the charger with its screen off.
You can download macOS 15 Sequoia, watchOS 11, tvOS 18, or visionOS 2 developer beta 2 by going to the Settings app of your device. Those who are downloading the betas for the first time must be registered to Apple’s Developer Program (which can be done for free) before they can install the betas on their test devices.
It is recommended that you only install all of these betas on your test devices and avoid downloading them on your main devices as these initial developer betas are prone to more bugs and errors. Apple is also expected to release public betas for all of its operating systems next month, which will be more stable than the early developer betas so it is worth waiting out for those as well.
