All sources point out that Apple will hold the iPhone event on September 10. The company usually announces the product on the event and starts taking pre-orders soon afterwards whereas the device is shipped to the buyers in a week or two. Now Japan’s business news website Nikkei has reported that the two new models of iPhone dubbed as the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5CC will launch in Japan on September 20.
The business daily goes further in noting that the sales of these new smartphones will be handled by Softbank and KDDI in the country. According to the newspaper Japan’s NTT Docomo will not send these new iPhones.
Backing Nikkei’s claim of September 20 launch is Greece’s Techmaniacs, which also reports that Apple will launch the new models of iPhone on the same date. If reports of both of these sources is true than we should expect September 20 to be the official launch date of iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C internationally.
