Apple announced Apple Watch Series 7 at its media event on September 20. However unlike iPhone 13 models the company did not announce the release date for the new Watch.
Now Apple has sent out a press release in which the company has announced that the new Apple Watch Series 7 orders will begin on Friday October 8 and the product will be available to buy in retail stores on Friday, October 15.
Apple is launching Apple Watch Series 7 in 50 countries and regions, whereas more will be added in the coming weeks.
Apple Watch Series 7 comes in larger 41mm and 45mm sizes. While the design looks quite similar to the previous models, it features a larger display that goes further edge to edge on all sides. The new Watch also comes with an IP6X certification that for the first time makes Apple Watch resistance to dust, while also keeping the WR50 water resistance rating.
Prices for the Apple Watch remain the same as last model and it comes in 5 new aluminium finishes including Midnight, Starlight, Green, New Blue and (PRODUCT)RED.
As far as health features are concerned no new health related capabilities have been added to the Apple Watch Series 7. However just like Series 6 it also features ability to measure Blood Oxygen level, ECG, Heart Rate and more.
Apple Watch Series 7 starts at $399 for the 41mm model while the 45mm model is available for $429.
