Apple has announced that it will be hosting its annual World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2022 from June 6 to June 10. The event carries the tagline ‘Call to code’.
Just like last year this year’s WWDC event will be hosted in online format and it will be free for all developers to attend.
At the WWDC 2022 keynote, which will take place on June 6, Apple is expected to announce new software updates that includes iOS 16, iPadOS 16, macOS 13, watchOS 9 and tvOS 16 among others. The company could also announce new hardware products at the event. Rumors have suggested Apple is working on new Apple Silicon Macs and iPads that could make their debut at WWDC.

Just like its media events Apple’s WWDC used to be an in-person event however it has moved to become an online-only affair ever since the global pandemic.
In its press release Apple has announced that it will host a special day for developers and students at Apple Park on June 6, where they will be able to watch the keynote and State of the Union videos together. Apple will also be live streaming the June 6 keynote and developer sessions online.
