Apple has finally announced the official date for the iPhone 6s event and has sent out the invitations to major media outlets. The event that will take place on September 9th will be held in Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. The invite graphic that was sent out carries a tagline, which says “Hey Siri, give us a hint.”. This tagline many speculate hints towards the release of new Apple TV with Siri. The new Apple TV is also rumored to finally feature app support as well as an improved remote control.
The big star of the event of course will be the iPhone 6s and the 6s plus, which are expected to feature better processors, 2GB RAM, improved camera with 12-megapixel censor as well as 4K video recording and the Force Touch. The devices are also rumored to come in new color option.
The event will start at 10AM local Cupertino time and will be live streamed on Apple devices including Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Apple TV. Apple will also be live streaming the event for users on Windows 10’s Edge browser.
We will be posting updates and analysis of the new releases and announcements before, during and after the events so stay tuned. (CNBC)
As usual Siri is not letting go of the opportunity to troll users who are curious about Apple’s plans for the event.
