Thanks to the checkm8 vulnerability we get lifetime jailbreaks for iPhone models up to iPhone X. Building on the checkm8 exploit we got the checkra1n jailbreak utility that is capable of jailbreaking iOS 13.3 or earlier. However now it looks like upcoming iOS 13.3.1 update will get the jailbreak treatment soon enough as iOS hacker @08Tc3wBB has already jailbroken the beta software.
The hacker showcased his jailbreak for iOS 13.3.1 beta 3 on video, where he can be seen jailbreaking his iPhone X, and then running Cydia to prove that he has a legitimate jailbreak. What’s even more encouraging about this development is the fact that he is using a tool other than checkra1n to jailbreak iOS 13.3.1 beta 3.
In the video accompanying his tweet we can see @08Tc3wBB using an unknown side-loaded jailbreak application to jailbreak the device. Once jailbroken the hacker is seen running Cydia on it.

The tool showed in the video apparently works differently than checkra1n, which unlike unc0ver or other Cydia Impactor reliant tools makes the user jailbreak their device from their computer. The major limitation with checkra1n is that since it runs on the computer, and is platform dependent. Due to this Windows users are not able to use this tool yet.
At this point it is hard to say whether @08Tc3wBB has any plans of releasing a working jailbreak for public or plans to share his work with the jailbreaking community. We will have to wait to find out.
