Despite beta testing iOS 13.3, Apple has today released iOS 13.2.3 and iPadOS 13.2.3 software updates and they are now available for download on their respective devices. The new iOS update brings several bug fixes for issues that users have been facing in various parts of iOS.
If you’re running iOS 13.2.2 or lower, then it is recommended that you upgrade your device to the latest iOS 13.2.3 update. You have multiple ways of installing this update to your device, most easiest of which is through the software update section found under Settings -> General on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Fixes in iOS 13.2.3
iOS 13.2.3 brings fix for the issue that caused system search and in-app search within Notes, Files and Mail to stop working. The update also solves the issue with the Messages app when it would not display Photos, Links and attachments as expected.
Background refresh for apps has also been improved and users will no longer face issue that prevented apps from downloading content in the background. Lastly, this update resolves the Mail app issue that prevented the app from fetching new mail. The issue that prevented the app from properly include and quoting original messages in Exchange accounts has also been fixed.
