Apple recently released iOS 15.1.1 Software Update for newer models iPhone. The update has been released to fix the call drop performance on iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 models.
If you have an iPhone 12 or iPhone 13 device, then you can head over to your iPhone’s software update section and download the minor update. The update is recommended for all users, especially those who have been experiencing degraded call performance on their device.
The build number for today’s release is 19B91 and the update is just around 400MB when downloaded over-the-air on devices running the latest version of iOS.
While you can update via the Settings app, users also have the option to update via Finder or iTunes. For manual installs direct IPSW links for iOS 15.1.1 are given below for all supported models.
Apple’s iOS 15.1.1 release is limited to iPhone 12 and iPhone 13. The update is not available for older models of iPhone nor it has been released for the iPads.
Apple is also beta testing iOS 15.2 and iPadOS 15.2 and will be releasing it with new features in the coming weeks.
