Apple has seeded iOS 16.2 beta 3 and iPadOS 16.2 beta 3 to developers. The update is now available for download on all compatible devices.
If you’re registered Apple developer who is already running iOS 16.2 beta 3 on his or her devices, then you can go to Software Update section of your device in order to download the update. Those looking to install iOS 16.2 beta 3 for the first time on their device will first need to download and install iOS 16 beta profile and then download the update.
The build number for today’s release is 20C5049e. iOS 16.2 beta 3 isn’t the only developer beta that has been released today, as Apple has also released the following software for testing.
- iPadOS 16.2 beta 3
- macOS Ventura 13.1 beta 3
- watchOS 9.2 beta 3
- tvOS 16.2 beta 3
With the release of third developer beta the public release of iOS 16.2 appears to be drawing closer.
iOS 16.2 is going to bring a number of changes to the operating system including the new Freeform app, Apple News integration within the Weather app, Sleep widget for Lock Screen and more.
