iOS 16.3 Public Beta Is Now Available For Download

Just one day after iOS 16.3 developer beta’s release, Apple has today released iOS 16.3 public beta 1. iOS 16.3 and iPadOS 16.3 public betas are now available for download to those who are registered with Apple Beta Software Program, and have the beta profile installed on their test device.

iOS 16.3 is an exciting new update that is expected to bring a bunch of new features to our iPhones and iPads. While other features have yet to make their way to iOS 16.3 beta, yesterday’s iOS 16.3 developer beta 1 includes support for FIDO Alliance Security Keys, which will allow users to authorize their iCloud account with a physical security key. We expect that the Security Keys feature will also be available in today’s public beta release of iOS 16.3.

Other features that are expected to become part of iOS 16.3 public beta in the coming weeks include Apple Card Saving Accounts and Pay Later features, Security keys for Apple ID, Apple Music Classical, Custom Accessibility Mode and availability of Advanced Data Protection for iCloud feature outside of US.

If you are new to Apple Beta Software Program, then you can download iOS 16.3 public beta on your device by registering your iPhone or iPad on Apple Beta Software Program website. You will find full installation instructions there.

iOS 16.3 and iPadOS 16.3 betas aren’t the only public betas that Apple has released today. The company has also made macOS Ventura 13.2 Public Beta available for public beta testers.
