iOS 16.6 And iPadOS 16.6 Betas Released To Developers

One day after releasing iOS 16.5 for everyone, Apple has today seeded iOS 16.6 and iPadOS 16.6 developer betas and they are now available for download.

If you are a registered Apple developer, then you can enable ‘Beta Updates’ on your iPhone by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update and then install the new release on your device. The build number for today’s release is 20G5026e. Apple should also release iOS 16.6 public beta in the coming days.

In addition to iOS 16.6 and iPadOS 16.6 betas, Apple has also seeded macOS Ventura 13.5, watchOS 9.6, and tvOS 16.6. All of these are also available for download on their respective devices.

iOS 16.6 appears to be a minor update and does not include any new features. That is expected of it as Apple is going to announce iOS 17 next month and will reserve all the new features for its major release. iOS 17 beta will be available next month and it will be released publicly in the fall.

We will update this post if any noticeable iOS 16.6 changers are discovered.
