Apple has just released iOS 18 beta 5 for developers and it is now available for download. Today’s release comes two weeks after Apple released iOS 18 beta 5.
If you are running iOS 18.0 developer beta on your iPhone or iPad, then go to the Software Update section of your device to install the latest beta. The build number for this release is 22A5326f.
Along with iOS 18.0, Apple is also running iOS 18.1 developer beta that comes with Apple Intelligence features such as Writing Tools. Apple has not released a new beta for iOS 18.1, and its beta 2 is expected to be released next week.
With iOS 18 beta 5, Apple has introduced a new feature called Safari Distraction Control. This feature will enable users to exercise more control over the Safari web browsing experience. Using Distraction Control users will be able to block certain elements like popup banners on web pages.
Along with iOS 18.0 beta 5, Apple has also released beta 5 for macOS Sequoia, watchOS 11, tvOS 18, and visionOS 2. These updates are also available for download on their compatible devices.
