At its iPad event Apple has announced that it will release the iOS 8.1 update for all supported devices on October 20th. The update will be made available worldwide for iPhones, iPads and iPod touch. The new software update will bring new features and enhancements to the operating system and enable the Apple Pay feature on the newer iPhones. Another notable change in iOS 8.1 is that it brings the Camera roll back, which was missing in the iOS 8 release. Apple has also announced that iOS 8.1 will feature iCloud Photo Library, that will allow users to store their photos from all of their devices in the cloud.
iOS 8.1 will also feature support for the new iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 that have been announced at the Apple event. As always we will let you know as soon as the update is publicly released.
