Whenever a major iOS or iPadOS update drops, many users who are using older hardware of iPhone or iPad are hesitant to install the new update on their devices. If you are one of those users, and are wondering how well iPadOS 15 runs on older iPads, then you might want to watch our latest video.
In the video we explore how iPadOS 15.0 runs on 10.5-inch iPad Pro. If you remember the 10.5-inch iPad Pro was released back in June 2017, which means it has been more than 4 years ever since the release of this particular iPad model.
The 10.5-inch iPad Pro featured in the video is powered by a A10X Fusion chip. This chip was an upgraded version of A10 Fusion chip that was found in iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
Even though Apple has given iPadOS 15 to 10.5-inch iPad Pro it is important to remember that when this tablet came out, iOS 10 was still the latest publicly available version of iOS and Apple was beta testing iOS 11. And of course iPadOS was still called iOS.
After running iPadOS 15 on this 4 years old iPad Pro I can safely say that it can more than handle the new update. In fact there’s barely any performance difference between iPadOS 14 and iPadOS 15 on the 10.5-inch iPad Pro, which is good news for those who own this tablet since iPadOS 14 was pretty stable on this device.
Watch our video below to find out how iPadOS 15 runs on 10.5-inch iPad Pro from 4 years old.
