Pangu untethered jailbreak iOS 7.1.1 released, download now

ios7-1-1 jailbreak

Finally here is the biggest news for all the jailbreakers out there. “Pangu”, a team of Chinese hackers has just released the long awaited untethered jailbreak for iOS 7.1.1 and it is now available for download. You can get the jailbreak installer from the source link below. However at the moment it only supports Windows. But don’t worry if you have a Mac as the team is also working on the Mac version, too. Several people over the internet have tested the Pangu jailbreak (including ourselves) and reported that it has successfully installed the jailbreak store Cydia.

Infamous iOS hacker iH8Sn0w, who is behind sn0wbreeze, f0recast and other jailbreak tools has verified that “jailbreak does not have “spyware” or malicious trails.” However it packs a piracy store to let people install pirated iOS apps similar to the initial installer of evasi0n jailbreak for iOS 7.

Pangu jailbreak is compatible with the following devices running iOS 7.1/7.1.1.

  • iPad 2nd gen.
  • iPad 3rd gen.
  • iPad 4th gen.
  • iPad Air
  • iPad mini
  • iPad mini retina
  • iPhone 4
  • iPhone 4s
  • iPhone 5
  • iPhone 5c
  • iPhone 5s
  • iPod touch 5th gen.

We are testing this jailbreak and will provide you with complete details and how-tos. Stay tuned.

Update: Follow the step-by-step guide here to jailbreak your iPhone, iPod touch and iPad using Pangu tool.

Update 2: Mac version of Pangu is available now.

  1. My phone froze up and then rebooted, when it booted back up all the ios tweaks and themes were gone. The cydia app is still on my phone. It seems that my phone has unjailbroke itself, should I try reinstalling the jailbreak. Please help……
