Make Chrome Incognito Mode’s Dark Look Default With This Theme

Chrome for Mac users who like dark user interfaces would likely agree that the web browser’s Incognito mode, which makes it possible for users to privately browse the web has a nice dark theme that is far superior looking than the default grey one. If you don’t know what I am talking about then simply click on the menu button and open a New Incognito Window (↑⌘N). While you can’t have this dark material design inspired theme from Chrome’s Settings, there is a third-party theme for Chrome available for free in the Chrome web store that lets you get the same look.

To get Chrome’s Incognito Mode’s dark theme on the default screen open this link and install the ‘Material Incognito Dark Theme‘. If the link is not working properly, then simply open the Chrome web store and type name of the theme. Make sure you select the ‘Themes’ filter from the sidebar to get the right result. Once you have installed the theme the incognito mode theme should become default on Chrome for Mac. As Chrome themes are cross platform same theme works on Chrome for Windows too.

Let us know what you think about this theme and whether you prefer it over the default one or not in the comments section below.
