The app is called “Super Mario Run.” It’s sort of like a endless runner, in the fact that you don’t control Mario’s running. Instead, you control his jumping, allowing you to collect coins, defeat enemies, and complete courses. Since the gameplay is so simple, it can be played with one hand.

Nintendo has said that Super Mario Run will be available at a set price, which means no in-app purchases, and will be available for the holiday season. Super Mario Run is already on the App Store, with a button to be notified when it is released. What is confusing is that the App description says that “This app offers in-app purchases,” which goes against what Nintendo just said. We won’t have to wait much longer to see how it folds out. In the meantime, Nintendo will be releasing some Super Mario Run iMessage stickers on the launch of iOS 10, so you can have fun with your friends and family while you wait.
