Users have long wanted to have the ability to set their favorite third-party web browser as default on their iPhone or iPad. While Apple has still not listened to this demand in iOS 11, those who are jailbroken can achieve this with the help of a new tweak called BrowserChanger10. It simply makes it possible for users to select a third-party web browser, which can include Chrome, Firefox, Dolphin, Opera Mini, iCab Mobile and Brave Browser.
Once a web browser app has been set as default any external links that you click on will automatically open in it instead of Safari. For example if you come across a link in Mail or Messages app and tap on it, your chosen browser will launch and webpage will load on it. While all links will open in your preferred web browser BrowserChanger10 also allows you to blacklist certain apps whose links will then open in Safari.
BrowserChanger10 tweak is available in Cydia for free under the BigBoss repo. You can configure the tweak from Settings where you will also find the enable/disable toggle.
