One of the features iOS users would want to see in iOS 11 is a dedicated iPad or iPhone guest mode, which would allow them to share their iOS device with their friends without worrying about privacy. While we wait for Apple to add this missing feature to iOS, the GuestMode 2 tweak has got us covered. It is a pretty powerful tweak that limits access to important areas of iOS, limiting others from looking at your messages, calls, browsing history and more.
Users get full control over what guest users can access and what they can’t. GuestMode 2 on iOS works in the most simple way. You can choose to enter the iOS device in normal or guest mode right from the lockscreen. It provides multiple ways of enabling the Guest Mode that includes using a special guest passcode, which when entered will unlock the device in guest mode.
It also adds a guest button on the lockscreen keypad. Other ways to access the Guest Mode include entering a wrong passcode, activator gesture or an macOS style login page.
You can download the GuestMode 2 tweak for iOS 10 from Cydia where it is available at a price of $0.99.
