Here’s What The iPhone Lineup Looks Like For 2018

After officially announcing the new iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus Apple has expanded the current iPhone lineup to 8 different devices. This is Apple’s biggest iPhone lineup ever due to the fact that Apple is selling several older iPhone models alongside its latest offerings.

In this article we take a look at Apple’s iPhone lineup for 2018 and lay out the devices that you can buy right now, at what prices and their features.

iPhone X

This is the hottest commodity on the Apple’s current iPhone lineup. It features the 5.8-inch Super Retina OLED Display that goes edge-to-edge on the screen. iPhone X also offers amazing features like A11 Bionic chip, True Tone Display, 12-megapixel dual cameras, 7-megapixel front camera with depth sensing, Face ID, wireless charging and more. iPhone X comes in two storage capacities with 64GB model costing $999 and 256GB model available for $1149. Unfortunately you can’t buy this iPhone right now as it will become available for pre-order on October 27 and ship on November 3.

iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus

iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are two new devices that were announced alongside iPhone X. These are high spec devices that have all the features iPhone X has minus the Super Retina OLED display, Face ID and depth sensing front camera. Just like the X these iPhones are powered by A11 Bionic Chip, have a new glass back, wireless charging, Retina HD display with wider color gamut and true tone screen, 12-megapixel camera on 8 and dual 12-megapixel cameras on 8 Plus, Portrait Lighting mode (8 Plus), Touch ID and more. You will be able to pre-order these on September 15 and they will ship on September 22.

  • You can buy the iPhone 8 with 64GB memory for $699 while the 256GB model costs $849.
  • You can buy the iPhone 8 Plus with 64GB memory for $799 while the 256GB model costs $949. 

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus

Apple is continuing to sell the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus from last year, which are pretty impressive devices even by today’s standards. Naturally these devices now sell for a lower price point making them affordable for a larger segment of users. iPhone 7 and 7 Plus offer features like Retina HD display, A10 Chip, 12-megapixel camera with dual cameras on 7 Plus, water and dust resistance with IP67 rating, Touch ID, 4K video recording and more.

  • The 32GB iPhone 7 sells for $549 and iPhone 7 with 128GB capacity is available for $649.
  • The 32GB iPhone 7 Plus sells for $669 and iPhone 7 Plus with 128GB capacity is available $769.

iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus

To the surprise of many people iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are still available for purchase on Apple’s website. We don’t know how long Apple will continue selling these devices, but at the moment they are available for purchase and at a good price too. iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are powered by A9 Chip, have Retina HD displays with 3D Touch, 12-megapixel cameras, 4K video recording, Touch ID, headphone jack and more.

  • You can get an iPhone 6s with 32GB storage at $449 whereas the 128GB model is available for $549.
  • You can get an iPhone 6s Plus with 32GB storage at $549 whereas the 128GB model is available for $649.

iPhone SE

The biggest reason to buy this iPhone is that you absolutely hate the larger displays. Oh and it is the most affordable iPhone from Apple’s current lineup. iPhone SE features some decent specs as it is powered by A9 chip, has a 4-inch Retina Display, 12-megapixel camera, 4K video recording, Touch ID, headphone jack and more. The 32GB iPhone SE is available for $349 and 128GB model for $449.
