I have always wanted to have the ability to access list of available Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth devices right on the Control Center. In iOS 12 or earlier you only get on/off toggles for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth in Control Center, and if you want to access a list of available options you are forced to open Settings app and go to dedicated pages for these settings.
This changes in iOS 13, as now users can quickly access a list of available Wi-Fi networks as well as a list of previously connected Bluetooth devices right on the Control Center. To access these new menus users can long press on the Control Center toggle widget to expand it. Once it is expanded users can then tap and hold on Bluetooth or Wi-Fi toggle to access the list menus for these settings.
In addition to displaying the list of available options, users also get a shortcut to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Settings pages, which they can tap to instantly open the Settings pages for these system features.
I don’t know about others, but personally this is a feature that I have always wanted to have on iOS and I am glad iOS 13 has finally brought it to everyone. The only thing that would make this feature even better is the ability to access the menus without having to expand the toggle widget first, as this adds an unnecessary step.
Having this feature will make it more convenient for iOS users to switch Wi-Fi networks or connect to their Bluetooth devices without having to open Settings app.
