New Renders Show Rumored 6.1-Inch iPhone With Bezel-Less LCD Display

If rumors are to be believed, then we will have 3 new iPhones at this year’s September event. This includes a successor to iPhone X with the same screen size and OLED display, a large 6.5-inch model dubbed as iPhone X Plus and a 6.1-inch iPhone with an LCD display.

With September approaching we are now seeing renders based on the allegedly leaked information, so today we got new renders that show us how the supposed 6.1-inch LCD iPhone could look like. The device as seen in the rendered images and video looks very much like the iPhone X from the front, complete with a notch to house front camera and Face ID sensors, an edge-to-edge display and no home button.

On the back it sports a glass back and a single camera just like iPhone 8 and older 4.7-inch iPhone models. The presence of a single camera suggests that it will be priced lower than the 5.8-inch OLED iPhone X successor. Apart from back camera we do expect this iPhone model to match more expensive offerings when it comes to specs, as we expect it to pack the A12 chip. Some rumors claim this device will lack 3D Touch functionality, however this seems the more unlikely of all the rumors about it.

Unlike the current iPhone X that features a stainless steel frame, this new iPhone will have an aluminium frame. Due to this the device will retain the antenna lines found on current and older models.

This year’s iPhone lineup is expected to be one of the most interesting one in years. It will be thrilling to see three new iPhones, all with designs that finally get rid of the iPhone 6 era design language and adopt modern features like Face ID, Bezel-less displays and more. Lets hope all these rumors turned out to be true.
