Apple has raised the subscription prices of two of its popular streaming services that includes Apple Music and Apple TV+. Along with the streaming services the monthly subscription cost associated with Apple One Bundle is also going to increase starting today.
New prices of Apple Music
Let’s talk about Apple Music first. Apple has increased the price of Apple Music individual plan by $1. This means the service that used to cost $9.99 will now cost $10.99 per month. Prices of Apple Music family plan has also gone up from $14.99 to $16.99 with an increase of $2.
As a result of the increase Apple has also raised the price of Apple Music Individual’s annual price from $99 per year to $109 per year.
Here are the new prices for Apple Music as of 24 Oct, 2022 and onwards:
- Apple Music Individual: $10.99
- Apple Music Family plan: $16.99
- Apple Music Individual (Annual): $109
New prices of Apple TV+
Apple TV+ prices have also been increased and now cost $2 more per month.
Here are the new Apple TV+ subscription prices:
- Apple TV+ Monthly: $6.99
- Apple TV+ Annual: $69
New prices of Apple One Bundle
In addition to Apple Music and Apple TV+, Apple has also increased the prices of Apple One Bundle.
New prices for Apple One bundles are as following:
- Apple One bundle Individual monthly plan: $16.95 (previously $14.95)
- Apple One bundle Family monthly plan: $22.95 (previously $19.95)
- Apple One Premier monthly Plan: $32.95 (previously $29.95)
An Apple spokesperson has also issued the following statement regarding the increase in subscription costs.
The subscription prices for Apple Music, Apple TV+, and Apple One will increase beginning today. The change to Apple Music is due to an increase in licensing costs, and in turn, artists and songwriters will earn more for the streaming of their music. We also continue to add innovative features that make Apple Music the world’s best listening experience. We introduced Apple TV+ at a very low price because we started with just a few shows and movies. Three years later, Apple TV+ is home to an extensive selection of award-winning and broadly acclaimed series, feature films, documentaries, and kids and family entertainment from the world’s most creative storytellers.
