Apple has released the new iOS 14.2.1 software update for iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
iOS 14.2.1 update, which is exclusively available for the latest iPhone models is now available for download over-the-air and through the direct IPSW download links that we have shared below.
iOS 14.2.1 brings several bug fixes and improvements targetting the newly released iPhones. This incldues the issue that caused iPhones to not being able to receive MMS messages.
In addition to that Apple has fixed the Lock Screen issue that caused the iPhone 12 mini to become unresponsive.
Another bug that iOS 14.2.1 fixes on newest iPhones involves the issue that caused the ‘Made for iPhone’ hearing devices to have sound quality issues when listening to audio from iPhone.
You can download iOS 14.2.1 on your iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update.
