Apple has released iOS 15.6 Developer Beta 1 and it is now available for download. iOS 15.6 beta comes 2 days after the release of iOS 15.5 update.
Along side iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 developer betas, Apple has also released macOS 12.5 beta 1 to developers. Developer betas for watchOS 8.7 and tvOS 15.6 are also available on their respective devices.
The new betas have been released ahead of WWDC 2022, which is scheduled to kick off on June 6.
If you’re a registered Apple developer, then you can install the beta configuration profile on your test iPhone and iPad, and install the update by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update.
On devices that already have beta configuration profiles installed, you can directly go go Software Update section and download the new update. The build number for this release is 19G5027e.
As Apple is expected to announce iOS 16 next month, we expect iOS 15.6 to be a minor update focusing on improvements and bug fixes. We will update this post if any noticeable changes or new features have been discovered in this beta release.
