If you are an iPhone 4 user who is running iOS 7.1 or iOS 7.1.1 on his or her device then we have got an important news for you. The GeekSn0w tool with ability to semi-untethered jailbreak both of these software versions has been released and is now available for download. The tool works on Windows and currently supports all three versions of iPhone 4 including iPhone 4 GSM, iPhone 4 Rev A as well as iPhone 4 CDMA. If you own an iPhone 4 then you can upgrade to any of these versions and use the GeekSn0w tool to semi-untether jailbreak your device.
If you are already running iOS 7.1 or iOS 7.1.1 with tethered jailbreak (which was possible with the previous versions of this tool) then simply add the ‘http://geekrepo.beiphone.it’ to Cydia and install the GeekSn0w SemiUntether Payload.
For those of you who don’t know GeekSn0w tool has been released by Twitter user BlackGeek and is based on GeoHot’s Opensn0w tool. It is worth mentioning here that we have never tried this tool and iOS Hacker takes no responsibility of any damages this tool may cause to your device. We would advice you to proceed with caution.
You can download the latest available version of GeekSn0w from this link. Watch this video for details.
