Are you an owner of older generation iOS device who like the look and feel of iOS 7? If yes, then you will be pleased to discover that WhiteD00r has been updated to bring iOS 7 like look to unsupported devices. While it is obviously not a full port of iOS 7 on older models it certainly looks and works great.

WhiteD00r attempts to recreate the iOS 7 look on older models. It installs a modified version of iPhone OS 3 or iOS 4 that has all the goods baked into it. In case you have doubts, everything WhiteD00r adds to the devices is functional and behaves quite similarly to iOS 7.

The aspects of iOS 7 this tool replicates on older generation devices include locksreen, notifications, push notifications, camera app, multitasking screen, Control Center, Voice Control (looks like Siri) and more. It even adds a new iOS 7 inspired look to stock apps which includes Calculator, Phone app and more. It features both AppStore and Cydia. For App Store it has a feature called AppTimeMachine, which allows users to install older versions of apps that have dropped support for older devices.

WhiteD00r features support for following devices:

  • iPhone 2G
  • iPhone 3G
  • iPod touch 1G
  • iPod touch 2G

While such a modification on a device that is no longer supported by Apple would normally slow it down, WhiteD00r claims otherwise.
