It is safe to say that most fans want Apple to redesign the Apple Watch. The design of the Apple Watch has remained largely the same ever since its original launch back in 2015. With Apple Watch Series 4 Apple made the screens of both sizes larger while slightly changing its shape.
Now it looks like the upcoming Apple Watch Series 7, which is expected to launch in or around September of this year might finally bring some significant design changes to the Watch.
According to a leaker Jon Prosser Apple Watch Series 7 will feature a redesign, which he says will be similar to Apple’s other hardware changes. Recently Apple has been redesigning its product with flat edges (see iPhone 12 and latest iPad Air), so a design with flat edges is something that must be on the cards.
While the redesign is expected Prosser says it will be “more subtle” than what we have seen with other products.
Here are some concepts that try to imaging Apple Watch Series 7 with flat design.
Prosser did not share detailed information about Apple Watch Series 7 however we can expect him to reveal detailed schematics in the future.
New colors are also expected on the Apple Watch with rumors indicating that Apple might introduce new color tones similar to the ones we have seen in AirPods Max for Watch Series 7.
We will share more details about the Apple Watch Series 7 redesign in the coming months. We expect Apple to launch the new Watch model alongside next generation iPhone in the fall.
