New features in iOS 18.1 beta 3
iOS 18.1 has already had various features that were missing from the iOS 18.0 beta that Apple is running at the same time. This includes Apple Intelligence features like Writing Tools, a redesigned Siri interface, a Call Recording feature, and more.
Now with iOS 18.1 beta 3 Apple has added even more missing iOS 18 features to iOS 18.1. The Notifications Summaries feature, which was previously limited to the Messages and Mail app has been expanded to other apps. This includes both stock and third-party apps.
Apart from expanding Notifications Summaries to all apps, iOS 18.1 beta 3 adds the Clean Up feature to the Photos app. This feature allows users to remove distractions from their photos with the help of Apple Intelligence.
The Clean Up tool which can be found inside the Photos app’s image editing toolbar, identifies background objects, which can be removed by the user with a single tap.
