Apple’s ‘Low-Cost’ Lineup: iPhone XR vs. iPhone 8 vs. iPhone 7

With the introduction of three new iPhones, Apple now has a long and somewhat complicated lineup of iPhones. The company is now selling 5 different models, 3 of which are aiming towards the lower end of the market, with iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max catering for the high-end.

If you have a low to medium budget and are thinking of buying a new iPhone, then you get plenty of buying options ranging from the brand new iPhone XR as well as iPhone 8 and iPhone 7. All of these devices are decent considering they all run iOS 12 without any troubles, have great processors and feature great cameras. However there are plenty of things that set them apart, perhaps most important of which is iPhone XR has 2019 specs, a brand new 6.1-inch Liquid Retina edge-to-edge display, Face ID and a modern design. Despite this there’s a hefty $300 difference between the price of iPhone XR and iPhone 7 that plays a vital role in buying decision of those who are on a budget.
