Display Sizes Of iPhone 14 Pro And iPhone 14 Pro Max Revealed

If you’re curious about the screen size of upcoming iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, then you are going to like this new report.

Display analyst Ross Young has revealed the screen size of iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, revealing the expected screen sizes for both devices.

According to the sizes shared iPhone 14 Pro will be larger than iPhone 13 Pro. Similarly the screen size of iPhone 14 Pro Max will be larger than that of iPhone 13 Pro Max.

This is due to the removal of traditional iPhone notch in favor of a new ‘pill + hole punch’ design.

The analyst says the iPhone 14 Pro will have a screen size of 6.12-inch whereas the larger iPhone 14 Pro Max will feature a 6.69-inch screen size.

Here’s a comparison between the screen sizes of upcoming iPhone models with their predecessors.

  • iPhone 13 Pro 6.06-inch -> 6.12-inch iPhone 14 Pro
  • iPhone 13 Pro Max 6.68-inch -> 6.69-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max

As you may have noted in the figures above, the screen size difference isn’t very significant and does not offer any noticeable increase in real estate as far as user-experience is concerned.

The iOS interface is also likely going to be the same considering the screen size difference between iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro devices are pretty negligible.

The removal of notch however will be noticeable in terms of both user experience and screen real estate. The smaller pill + hole punch design will allow iOS to display more items in the status bar, which is a good news for iPhone users.

According to leaks the new pill + hole design will be exclusively available on Pro models of iPhone, while Apple will bring the new camera and Face ID design to iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Max, expected to release in 2023.
