iOS 16.2 Beta 4 Released To Developers

If you’re on Apple’s iOS 16.2 beta bandwagon, then now is the time to upgrade your iPhone to iOS 16.2 beta 4. Developers testing on iPads can also download iPadOS 16.2 developer beta 4 now.

Apple is expected to release iOS 16.2 sometime later this month as it continues to release developer and public betas of the next major update for those testing its pre-release software.

iOS 16.2 beta 4 comes a day after Apple released iOS 16.1.2 for iPhone users with minor changes like improved network provider compatibility and Crash Detection optimizations.

Along with iOS 16.2 beta 4 and iPadOS 16.2 beta 4, Apple has also released macOS Ventura 13.1 beta 4, watchOS 9.2 beta 4 and tvOS 16.2 beta 4. All of these are also available for download on their respective devices.

Expected to get released sometime in December, iOS 16.2 is a major release that is going to bring a number of new features and changes to the iPhones and iPads.

This includes the new Freeform app, enhancements for iPhone 14 Pro’s always-on display feature, Live Activities feature enhancements, Apple News integration with Apple News app, a new architecture for Home app, new Sleep widget, ability for users to report to Apple when Emergency SOS is unintentionally triggered and more.
