Apple has just seeded iOS 16 developer beta 8 to developers and it is now available for download. The update comes just one week after Apple had released the seventh beta.
The release comes as we draw closer to the official release of iOS 16 to public, which could happen between September 8 to 16 and Apple’s Far Out iPhone 14 event scheduled to take place on September 7.
The update is available to everyone who is running iOS 16 beta on their devices. If you are already on beta, then you can head over to the Software Update section of your device to download the update.
Today’s release is limited to iOS 16 beta 8 only, as Apple has not released iPadOS 16 beta 8 yet. This is most likely because Apple has separated the release of iPadOS 16 from iOS 16 with the iPad operating system scheduled to get released sometime in October. Apple has already released iPadOS 16.1 beta to developers last week, skipping iPadOS 16.0’s release altogether.
No big changes are expected in iOS 16 beta 8 as Apple has already introduced all the major changes in the past 7 beta releases.
