Mail app enhancements like ability to schedule emails have also been introduced in this update along with Focus mode enhancements, better sharing options for iCloud Photo sharing, live text for video, ability for users to drag and drop a subject and remove background from a picture, new Maps features like multi-stop routes in Apple Maps and more.
Changes in iOS 16 beta 5
One of the most noticeable changes that users have discovered in iOS 16 beta 5 is that Apple has added battery percentage to iPhone’s status bar.
Now users can view the current battery percentage of their iPhone right on the home screen. Previously users had to access the Control Center in order to see battery percentage. Reportedly the feature is available on all iPhone models except iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 13 mini.
